Ice Cream Hut Inks First Franchise DealViera, FL  (RestaurantNews.comIce Cream Hut, a bustling ice cream shop headquartered in Cocoa Beach, FL, has just announced its first franchise deal on the heels of its official sales launch.

The newest Ice Cream Hut will set up shop in Viera and has a target open date of Summer 2022. Currently, in addition to its flagship Cocoa Beach store, Ice Cream Hut can also be found in Rockledge.

The new location is owned by husband-wife-duo Mitchell and Courtney Burgess. “Our entire team here at Ice Cream Hut is so excited to bring on our first franchisees,” stated Ron Ramsey, Founder and Owner of Ice Cream Hut. “The Burgess team completely encompasses the franchise partners we are seeking.”

According to Ramsey, Ice Cream Hut fits into the lifestyle and skill set for most working class people. He wants to be the answer for those who are tired of working for other people and who are ready to be their own boss. “Courtney is a nurse and Mitchell is a machinist,” stated Ramsey. “They are ready to work for themselves and invest in something to positively affect their family for years to come. When they checked into the Ice Cream Hut opportunity, it was a perfect fit for all of us.”

The journey towards franchising has been long and hard, says Ramsey, but worth the wait. “Everything we’ve done up to this point has been worth the work, especially seeing the first franchise sold,” stated Ramsey. “This first deal really validates our proven concept and how we’ve built our franchise package to fit our franchise partners. We can’t wait for more sales to close; there are several that we’re working on.”

The frozen treat franchise sunk its teeth into the franchise marketplace just this year. Following their launch, they quickly sold this first unit, followed by strong interest from other possible franchisees. “We have multiple locations that are close to contract. We’re going to have really strong growth in Florida,” asserted Ramsey. “Our goal is to concentrate on Florida first and give the support to those franchisees before we go outside of the state.”

Ramsey pointed out that the company’s growth has reached over 40% at the local corporate-owned stores. “Our numbers have shown that we have a strong potential for great ROI and that our concept is completely proven to work,” pointed out Ramsey. “From here, for our franchise partners, it’s a simple plug-and-play.”
