The latest franchise sale marks the third for the brand, landing in Brevard County.

Ice Cream Hut Inks First Franchise Deal “We are thrilled to bring the delicious offerings of Ice Cream Hut to Palm Bay with Tony and Pattie at the helm. This team is well qualified and they are passionate about the brand. I have no doubt that the community will long cherish this location as a must-have for people of all ages,” stated COO Ron Ramsey.

In addition to this latest Palm Bay location, the Sunshine State is home to a total of five Ice Cream Huts — one in Viera, one in Rockledge, one on Merritt Island, and one on Cocoa Beach.

Founded in 2016, Ice Cream Hut launched its franchise model last year and quickly gained popularity, expanding to multiple locations across east-central Florida. The decision to open in Palm Bay was a natural step in the company’s expansion plan, said Ramsey, as they work to be accessible to more customers.

The Palm Bay location will feature all the signature flavors that have made Ice Cream Hut “The Best Ice Cream Around”, including classics like chocolate and vanilla, alongside unique and creative options that cater to a wide range of tastes. The company offers Amish-made delicious flavors, such as Chocolate Peanut Butter, which features a rich chocolate, miniature peanut butter cups, and peanut butter swirl, or the Butterscotch Explosion, consisting of mouthwatering salted caramel, chocolate sandwich cookies, miniature peanut butter cups, brownies, and heath bits. Dairy-free and sugar-free menu items are also available.

Ice Cream Hut continues to welcome new franchisees to the team. Visit Ice Cream Hut’s franchise page at www.icecreamhutfranchise.com to learn more about next steps to ownership.

The newest agreement is the second franchise for the growing ice cream franchise

Ice Cream Hut Inks First Franchise Deal Ice Cream Hut’s Merritt Island store is the fourth location for the brand, which just launched its franchise opportunity last year. Other Ice Cream Hut locations can be found in Cocoa Beach, Rockledge, and Viera.

“We are excited to tap another market that is thriving and in need of the premium ice cream that we serve along with our energetic friendly staff and wild desert creations,” stated COO Ron Ramsey.

The Internicola family are fresh to the area, having relocated to Melbourne, Florida from Boston. Danny Internicola served as a United States Air Force veteran working in Security Forces, which he followed with a time as a dedicated State Trooper where he worked on the EOD unit at Logan Airport. The couple, who also have children they involve with the business, are excited to bring Ice Cream Hut to Merritt Island.

“We are thrilled to bring the joy of ice cream to our local community. We understand the importance of a quality product and a sense of community, which is why working with the Ice Cream Hut family was a no brainer,” the couple commented in a joint statement.

Ramsey shared that Ice Cream Hut works to be a reprieve from the traditional work setting and welcomes those who are ready to be their own boss. Franchise partners are taken through a comprehensive training program and given a strong ongoing support system.

“When Danny and Michelle inquired about a franchise, we knew from the start that they were the franchisees that we were looking for and were excited to share our brand with them. Look out, because Ice Cream Hut has more to come and will be coming to your neighborhood soon,” stated Ramsey.

The Florida-based company will open its first franchised location in Palm Bay this summer season.

Ice Cream Hut Inks First Franchise DealPalm Bay, FL  (RestaurantNews.comIce Cream Hut, a bustling ice cream shop headquartered in Cocoa Beach, FL, has just announced its first franchise deal on the heels of its official sales launch.

The newest Ice Cream Hut will set up shop in Palm Bay and has a target open date of Summer 2022. Currently, in addition to its flagship Cocoa Beach store, Ice Cream Hut can also be found in Rockledge and Viera.

The new location is owned by husband-wife-duo Mitchell and Courtney Burgess. “Our entire team here at Ice Cream Hut is so excited to bring on our first franchisees,” stated Ron Ramsey, Founder and Owner of Ice Cream Hut. “The Burgess team completely encompasses the franchise partners we are seeking.”

According to Ramsey, Ice Cream Hut fits into the lifestyle and skill set for most working class people. He wants to be the answer for those who are tired of working for other people and who are ready to be their own boss. “Courtney is a nurse and Mitchell is a machinist,” stated Ramsey. “They are ready to work for themselves and invest in something to positively affect their family for years to come. When they checked into the Ice Cream Hut opportunity, it was a perfect fit for all of us.”

The journey towards franchising has been long and hard, says Ramsey, but worth the wait. “Everything we’ve done up to this point has been worth the work, especially seeing the first franchise sold,” stated Ramsey. “This first deal really validates our proven concept and how we’ve built our franchise package to fit our franchise partners. We can’t wait for more sales to close; there are several that we’re working on.”

The frozen treat franchise sunk its teeth into the franchise marketplace just this year. Following their launch, they quickly sold this first unit, followed by strong interest from other possible franchisees. “We have multiple locations that are close to contract. We’re going to have really strong growth in Florida,” asserted Ramsey. “Our goal is to concentrate on Florida first and give the support to those franchisees before we go outside of the state.”

Ramsey pointed out that the company’s growth has reached over 40% at the local corporate-owned stores. “Our numbers have shown that we have a strong potential for great ROI and that our concept is completely proven to work,” pointed out Ramsey. “From here, for our franchise partners, it’s a simple plug-and-play.”
